    Cold Steel Tanto

This is my Cold Steel San Mai Tanto. San Mai indicates that the blade is laminated from three layers of steel, the middle being the hard cutting edge. This is the older iteration that was discontinued in the early 90's. The difference being its scales are made from Pachmayr rubber as opposed to Kraton, the former being noticeably superior in terms of grip.

Much fondled, but never used to cut. Well there was that one girl who, deciding to test its blade, used it to deftly apply four perfectly neat and clean slices onto her forearm. I guess that's a whole other story.

Do we have a knife picture thread?
Maybe we should start one, I do not have may knives but here is one of them I am particularly proud of.

Cold Steel Imperial Tanto, one of the thousand made.
