SF U2 Ultra mount options?

I currently have a LWRC M6A2 on order and I am trying to get all my goodies ready for its arrival. I already have a Surefire U2 and wanted to mount it using the VLTOR's offset mount. The only question is will it fit? I read the specs on the mount and have seen the mount used with lights that "shouldn't" fit. Does anyone know if the U2 falls into that category? If not could you recommend a similar mount that would work? If not I planned on buying and E2DL and will end up using that. Thank you for your help

Im interested too! Ive got a U2 and am new to the AR world and would like to use them together! One thing that may get in the way is the pocket clip, I wonder if thats removable.

Well the clip on mine can be removed easy. From all the banging around it gets at work the plastic ring that holds it on craked and now i can put it on and off as I please. With that said I think it is still possible to do normally by removing the tail cap and maybe the O-ring.
