I looked at that, and something about it just bothers me. Hanging extra stuff on the MAWL just means more things to take an impact and affect POI/POA. Prior, the light kindof shielded the MAWL from impacts from that direction. Now, it takes it on the chin if any part of that illumination cluster gets the bonk. Just my .02

Yeah, I made thread on the MATE 2 or 3 weeks ago. I had a chance to play with a prototype when I ran my setup pictured here in one of his NV classes.

An updated MAWL will be coming out soon.
