I still think the points system they had at first was a precursor to a system for regulating all guns a ‘pointing’ them out of existence, but Bruen put an end to that fantasy. But does any of these new rules affect being able to import pistols that are often turned into SBRs? I’m thinking of all the SIG and HK MP5 and clone pistols that come in. Does any of this stuff affect that?
I've noticed a few companies just outright selling them as a factory SBR or just selling them sans brace and you can do what you will later.

We may see a new form of "922r" come out of this.

Did anyone catch the results of the politics today in reference to the brace “rule”?
"Why "zombies"? Because calling it 'training to stop a rioting, starving, panicking, desperate mob after a complete governmental financial collapse apocalypse' is just too wordy." or in light of current events: training to stop a rioting, looting, molotov cocktail throwing, skinny jeans wearing, uneducated bunch of lemmings duped by, or working directly for, a marxist organization attempting to tear down America while hiding behind a race-based name

So yesterday the "block" for the pistol brace rule passed the House. I don't see any chance of passing the Senate. I do like to see who exactly votes for what though. A couple Democrats crossed over to the light yesterday and conversely a couple Republicans crossed to vote with the empire too.

That's just mirror voting. They vote to cancel themselves out, so whichever side can use it when it doesn't matter. It's all organized by the puppeteers above them.

Even if it doesn't pass the senate (it might) it is still important to pass this bill to show that the rule was rejected by the people's house. When the Supreme Court, potentially, guts this and the trump stock ban they can point to it. I am glad the Republicans passed it.
Let those who are fond of blaming and finding fault, while they sit safely at home, ask, ‘Why did you not do thus and so?’I wish they were on this voyage; I well believe that another voyage of a different kind awaits them.”

Of course, and obviously. Kudos to them.

That said, the Republicans are a GREAT opposition party though. Hand them the reigns of power and......meh.

The problem is that when they’re in power, they either go overboard with pet projects that nobody except the most ardent hawkish, evangelical conservatives support, or they just hold on for dear life and don’t attempt to get anything done, thinking they’re going to somehow buck the trend of losing midterms.

What they needed to do was say "ATF doesn't get even one dime for payroll until this rule is permanently rescinded, have fun turning tricks to feed yourselves Jackboots."
