need a new 4'' folder

alright so right now I have a CKRT m16 like this:


now it's the perfect size and I really like the nub on the front of the blade that sticks through the back of the handle, I can flick it out really fast with my index finger. but as I'm sure many of you know it doesn't hold and edge for $hit and the dang safety thing is a PITA so I'm wanting something better.

so here's my criteria for my next folding knife:

-about a 4'' blade. I don't like them much smaller and I'm not suppose to have anything bigger at work(though I could get away with something slightly longer)

-I'm not sure what the technical term is but I really like the nub/stud deal I mentioned above(not the regular thumb studs) like this:


-I'd prefer a full plain edge as opposed to a combo serrated edge

-assisted flip might be nice but not necessary

-I'm not LEO/military so an auto is out of the question(which it totally ghey)

-$200 ceiling but under $100 would be best

Don't know about you're "budget" is, but for the 4 inch blade folders, try checking out Strider's SMF series. < HERE >

thanks for the reply, I had no idea they even made folding knives that cost more than most of the cars I've owned in my life

ok as far as price I might be able to bring myself to spend $150-200 but under $100 would be much much better.

either of these worth the money? I'm leaning more towards the cold steel because it has the plain edge and a liner lock

I've bought stuff from there before I thing though they ship on Friday's so If you need before then I'd go with knifeworks.
