    Rail covers - Magpul XTM

Does anyone use the magpul xtm rail covers? I was wondering how these compare to the other types of rail covers on the market. I'm thinking about picking some of these up, but would like others input on these.

I use them on two guns. They aren't as grippy as XT panels, but their low profile allows a much smaller grip radius compared to most covers on the market.

I find that they hold the rail tightly and if you order different colors you an get a "digicam" effect. The first time taking them apart can be confusing, but once you figure out what you're supposed to do, it's not an issue.

if you get them, make sure they're the newer ones. the older ones had very sharp corners, while the newer ones are rounded just a bit

sounds like these would work for since I have smaller hands I guess the only way to find out is for me to actually by them and try them out, thanks for the info

I prefer them over the XTs I used to have because they are thinner and make it more comfortable to hold the forearm...

What do y'all use to take them off the rail? I already broke one using two rounds.

I use a couple of dummy rounds to remove them. I'm surprised you broke it...before I figured it out I pried HARD on one and it held up well. Give Magpul a call, I'm sure they'll send you a replacement.
