    Not enough ammo for Taiwan

    https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%...udget-china%2F

We've been raiding our ammunition stockpiles in Israel and South Korea to supply to Ukraine and now we might not have enough to take on china. Granted, this involves heavy weapons, but how long until the feds ban small arms ammo sales to us civilians, claiming it's for the war effort? Hate to be Chicken Little, but I think we're headed for that.

Our current administration may try to use to use it as a reason / excuse. It would make as much sense as the rest of the gobblety gook they spew out on a daily basis.

Considering the numerous times since 2008 ammo has been unavailable (real or imagined) no one should surprised.

I have no inside info on current .mil availability. Just pointing out that a civilian side ammo crunch is very much different than a military logistics shortfall. Not the same supply chain,

Are gun owners then willing to buy black market ammo?

It reason number one billion we have a metric ass ton of reloading supplies. Not that we couldn't run out but we could stay in the game for a minute. I saw on Fox today they had some anti gun rally with GUNS being the problem, as per usual.

China will take Taiwan before the 2024 election.

I think the Pentagon is (wisely) using this as an excuse to go on a spending spree. There is no question that the late 90s "peace dividend" was penny wise, pound foolish.
Let those who are fond of blaming and finding fault, while they sit safely at home, ask, ‘Why did you not do thus and so?’I wish they were on this voyage; I well believe that another voyage of a different kind awaits them.”

Not gonna say "can't happen" but "we'll see."
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

The more I look at it the less it makes sense. They’ll make noise, try to bully them, but invade? They really want it for the chip plants. We won’t let them have the chip plants or the engineers. So, they take an island and every one else in the area either starts buddying up or going nuke. For what exactly are the Chinese trying to do?

The Chinese would be better off saying that Japan is trying to take Asian Russia and to protect it, they’ll station their troops there…

If the Chi-coms invade, it’s a sign that their internal politics are COMPLETELY gone off the rails.

And Taiwan needs Shells? Like what have they been doing for over half a century, knowing that they are on an island and can’t be resupplied easily?
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.
