Their historical strategy, keep shoving more meat into the grinder until the other guy runs out of his own trying to keep up. A hallmark of incompetent strategy IMO - yes, attrition has a place, but only when done carefully rather than just throwing lives away drowning the enemy in your own blood.

Yeah, but it's always 4th and 9 when the Russians again charge their running back straight up the middle.
I swear the Hallmark of every successful Russian General is an Immense attrition rate and straight up the gut fighting.

Yup, and not only in Europe or in recent history either. I seem to recall one wackadoodle Chinese ruler centuries ago whose idea of "demonstrating resolve" was to order the men in the front rank to kill THEMSELVES...
