Gear Modifications

Can anyone recommend a shop who does gear Modifications? I need to have zippers on a bag I want replaced with lockable zippers.

If I am understanding what you are wanting...

Not too difficult to replace zipper slides, but when looking for a tutorial on doing that I found this that gets you lockable zippers even easier.

Replacing the actual slides involves removing the stops, install new slides, and install replacement stops.

If you don't want to DIY, I would assume any upholstery shop, seamstress, or tailor near you could do the work you are wanting.

Thanks for that, it’s great information. Do you know if it will satisfy TSA requirements if I’m traveling with firearms? I may use it on sone other pieces of gear.

No idea on tsa requirements.

Gun must be in a hard-sided case for tsa.

I was aware of that requirement. I should have asked with the firearm in a locked hard case would the recommendation work?
