Thanks, now I just need a rifle, Dies and maybe even the right powder.

SIG needs to get off their asses as start producing rifles in this cartridge instead of 308.

Huh. Neat. If only the weapons were available and not astronomical in price.
It's f*****g great, putting holes in people, all the time, and it just puts 'em down mate, they drop like sacks of s**t when they go down with this.

Why do I have an irrational desire to buy some and try to resize them to 6.5 Creedmoor and try to load some hot 6.5 Creedmoor?

    Probably because I’m stupid.

Well, the brass is usually the weak point, so you may not be a stupid as you think you are.........You'd be the man shooting 4000 FPS 6.5C!

Chamber throats are evil, and need to be burned. LOL.

Hitting 2900-3000 with 147gr ELD-M’s wouldn’t hurt my feels to be honest.

It is the "new" hybrid case designed for the new SIG service rifle, capable of running at 80K PSI, as approved by SAMI.

I have my LGS on the lookout for a SIG rifle in .277 so I figured I might as well get some brass/steel to play with. (I don't even have dies yet.)

Unfortunately, it appears SIG is only making rifles in 762 which is ridiculous.

At the worst, I can form it into something else and run it hotter if I feel like risking a barrel and bolt.

    Interesting idea.

The whole gun/round development is a classic case of "it's the Indian, not the Arrow". The M4 with good ammo and a good shooter is more than adequate. But that doesn't matter I guess.
