Rainier ultra match bolt gun barrels

Seems the Rainier ultra match barrels are well thought of. I found they have the ultra match mod 2 for Savage. Anybody tried one? Same crew that does the ar barrels cutting these?

If they are anything like the older Ultra Match barrels made from Shilen blanks and with the 5r rifling, they should be outstanding.

    I believe the Mod2 are criterion blanks. I have a criterion in 284win that's a hammer.

Didn’t see any AI prefits. So I don’t care.

Ive run a bit through their AR barrels and highly recommend them. Id ask if they follow the same blanks/process.

Then why comment? Maybe get something custom so you can participate. Why would they make prefits for mass-produced assembly-line junk?

LOL. I’m just mad they don’t have barrels for me.

Guess I’ll stick with Bartlein blanks done up by Win Tactical, that’s what came on the rifle and I have no complaints. Just stick with my poverty spec junk.

I would still rock a Rainier pre-fit if they had a good price on something like .22 Creedmoor that is going to obliterate chamber throats like fat girl eating Kristi Kreme.
