    Yes, still lame. FBI acceptance holds no weight with me and neither does Military acceptance of anything after they started choosing SIG for everything.

    Anything to do in order to simplify mounting would be good. I do not own one yet and mounting has been something that gives me pause.

    I agree. Maybe different versions of the Acro P2 to mount directly (without an adapter plate) to multiple handgun platforms. Similar to what the Holosun SCS is doing today.

    It does seem to be some variant of the P2, or an optic like that. I was finally able to snag one after years of trying recently. So I hope it's not a budget line ACRO or something

    I doubt they'll do anything "Budget" line. That's not their usual action unless someone at aimpoint figured out that Holosun is out there.

    I own an S-1 and have it mounted on a Beretta vent rib.

    If this will work on Remington 870 vent ribs, it will be a help. The original S-1 did not, without the use of a Dremel.
