I call BS and am going to go with ejection year gaslighting based on selective data. Sorry, but neither party or news org are worth snot when it comes to actual investigation and honest reporting.

We live in a society that one day tells us inflation is bad only to redefine it as good to suit a need a short time later. Remember that time when we redefined what a vaccine was cause the en vogue thing didn’t work? That’s where we live. They are all full of poop.

Go look at how many people are getting their jobs eliminated and how much cutting back companies are doing and get back to me on how the economy is booming.

Anyone who thinks the economy isn’t screwed up is an imbecile of epic proportions.

I believe it. I also don’t feel it like so many others. So many companies posting huge profits. Stock market numbers are good. But what’s that mean for me and most the rest of us? Not much. It’s almost as if trickle down economics do not work.

So the wealthiest Americans are getting wealthier?

Yea, I believe that. And that more of the middle class slips towards poverty. Stratification continues.

My Grandmother adored FDR, in here estimation he saved America.
All that opinion was based on everything she read up to that moment in life.
There was no trying to convince her otherwise.
She read the paper and listened to the radio everyday, so She was about as informed as any one else.

Sounds kind of foolish today doesn't it. We simply know FDR as a Socialist who's programs made things worse not better and in the end we had to have WWII in order to ,"fix it".
But being born before Orval and Wilbur took a flight at kittyhawk how was She to know what she didn't know?
We will get the full story after Joe's worm food and Hunter has OD'd.

How strong will Tennessee's economy be in 2024?

We’re doing alright here in Tennessee
North Carolina is at or near the top of most economic rankings, but a lot of rankings are biased (i.e., favor urban, high-tech areas while rural areas suffer) and pull in socio-cultural dynamics (see metrics in article). NC doesn't do well in the latter because of a GOP house and senate and conservative-leaning laws.

But my area, the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) is just about recession-proof.
