    VA Disability Tax Question.

I know the VA Disability Payments are tax deductable, but does the VA provide you with some documentation for tax purposes?

They aren't tax deductible, they are tax free. It isn't reportable as taxable income and no tax is taken out when paid.

You may get a document but it doesn't matter, as already mentioned it's tax-free so you don't need anything when you file your income tax stuff.

I have not received one in 15 years

VA disability pension is not seen as income for any tax purpose, including Earned Income Credit https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductio...ax-credit-eitc
