There's no doubt that the Delta is a stronger mount, but that does no good if it can't place the optic in a usable position.
    What?

Instead of traditional inline BUIS, why not a secondary aiming device, like a 45* or top mounted RDS?
    I agree.

    ^^^This I totally agree.

I've used Badger C1 with that scope and also a Razor 1x6. Yeah gotta use a 1/2 inch wrench but easy peasy and absolute return to zero.

I run Badger C1 1.7 w 45*ACRO and Razor 1-10 on my work gun. My home gun runs the same mount with a Viper 1-6 and 45* MPS

I'd give a hard look at Primary Arms 30mm PLx Cantilever Mount - 1.5"

    https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-...-plx-cm-30-1.5

Best part is you don't need to carry a 1/2" wrench around with you, as the PLX takes a T25 Torx. The Badger Condition One, Geissele both need a 1/2" wrench. The Reptilia AUS mount also takes a T25.

Something like a TORX SHORT ARM L-KEY T25 for under $3.00 is easy to carry and store.

Also, should you ever want to you can get a Primary Arms PLx Top-Cap Reflex Mount - 30mm for a mounting a small Red Dot at 12 o'clock.

    https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-...t=%2Fpurchases

I have that set up with a Trijicon 2-10x36mm in a PLx 20 MOA 30mm mount, with a Holosun HE407C-GR-X2 in a PLx Top-Cap Reflex Mount. I had to use a 10mm spacer from Reptillia ROF™-RISERS FOR TRIJICON® RMR SRO due to the high turrets. The 407C has the same footprint as the Trijicon RMR.

Neat tool, I keep a small Snap On box wrench handy but rarely remove my optics. My Geissele red dot mounts have the same size lug nuts as the Badger. I switched out the GDI qd mounts for the Geisseles. Little springs and levers vs lug nuts, I wasn't using the qd feature anyway.
