    In my admittedly small sample of three of the receivers under discussion, I found no blemishes; consistently tight fit required "thermal fit" which, in my case anyway, was achieved by following the instructions that came with the receivers. BCM's sold these blem uppers for many years. They used to constantly go in and out of stock, but have been available at this price for quite a while.

    Yeah mine was tight

    I don’t have a torch but it made me wish I did.

    If you want a solid, air tight upper that has ZERO movement, try a SOLGW upper. Not so sure about their barrels though from my experience. Good people there.
