Prometheus wasn’t terrible. It just had too many places where I had to suspend my disbelief. Like where the two scientists supposedly were able to find the planet from cave drawings or anyone believing or investing in the idea enough to warrant the journey.
The script really fell off in some parts like when the “scientists” are exploring the cave and decide they can take off their helmets just assuming the oxygen supply is going to remain constant. Or playing with the black goo. It’s like they took some of the most ignorant people even “scientists” and sent them to the planet.
Covenant was just bad.
It’s like those two movies came from a committee with a few good idea fairies with no movie making experience.
