So not a fan and don't think much of him but headlines say "sex trafficking" while the actual claims of a performer he produced are rape and sexual assault from 20 years ago and that case was settled. Could be legit, could be complete BS, and it's a scummy business full of scummy people so if he was targeted from the jump it would hardly surprise me anymore than him thinking he can do what he wants with a 17 year old performer because he was giving her a career.
In some ways I think these people all deserve each other and predatory opportunists play these games.

Aparently a large number of the guys are Bisexual and apparently Puffy's been caught at it a couple of times. I believe there weree allegations of gay rape that were paid off and settled on the Down Low.

I never liked P Diddy and honestly I think that's when rap took a nosedive, right around the time him and Mace got popular like in 97-98, couldn't stand their monotone style of rapping and excessive sampling. After that trap beats took over which I also hate. Rap has been crap ever since.

Man they really did sound like kids just reading it off a sheet of paper didn't they? I think back to the rapid fire exchanges of lyrics with Run DMC and the unconventional deliveries of Rakim and early Chuck D and I wonder how it came to THAT.
If any of their records, including Biggie and the rest, were released in the 80s they would have been laughed out of the room. But buying famous samples and simple rhymes for simple minds seems to have been the winning formula at the time.
As for me I'll just keep listening to De La Soul and Stetsasonic.

Untreated bipolar disorder isn’t an excuse, but often explains the odd behavior of musicians of all types, among whom that disorder is fairly common, and often un controlled. Grandiosity and hypersexuality being fairly common symptoms and all. I'm usually pretty suspect of fed ops like this, but I've yet to hear of a single instance where ICE-HSI got out of pocket doing a human trafficking investigation? I've worked with their local office and they've been pretty legit.
What if this whole crusade's a charade?
