    It should be a Dandy.

Squared trigger guard can be an issue in acquiring leather/Kydex.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

This is true. I’m already working on that. I may see how a Staccoto/2011 holster fits as most of them use a STG.

Gunbroker came through for me! New gun from a very reputable dealer I’ve bought from before for over $1k cheaper than optioned out at ACW. They had a make offer and I’ll be damned they accepted my low ball ass offer!

Very nice! My next 1911 will be another Nighthawk, but more likely try an Alchemy - full hard chrome, but with a rounded trigger guard just because holsters. Please post pics once you get it in your little, grubby hands!

I would have preferred a round trigger guard, but for $1k off and immediate delivery I’ll take it.

FYI, Simply Rugged has a holster that will work with a square trigger guard and I also reached out and they said they could make any 1911 holster with a square trigger guard no problem. They also have a very short lead time.

The square trigger guard serves no purpose, other than aesthetics. But they are beautiful, and a tribute to some legendary pioneers/craftsman like Armand Swensen...

OP, it will serve you well and with class!
