Colt 6930

I was looking through Arms Unlimited's website and found a Colt LE6930CK upper half. It is listed as having a 10.3" barrel and quad rail. I don't recall ever seeing a LE6930, so I searched the internet. I didn't find anything other than perhaps some typing mistakes. Is this some made-up thing by Arms Unlimited or is it an actual unique offering from them that you can't get anywhere else?

It’s definitely not a KAC rail, nor a copy.

I sure hope they're not takeoffs from the European export rifles. That would leave the upper non-matching to whatever lower you have.

If a person is going down to 10.3" not sure why they'd want anything else besides a free float mono rail. That was the main attraction of the 6945 for me. If we are doing A2 front sights and rails, I'd rather go 11.5."

And yes it seems like ArmsUnlimited has cobbled together more than a few custom Colts.

I sent an email to Arms Unlimited asking them if they installed the quad rail or if it came that way from the factory and I also asked if any of the parts are serialized. They replied "From the description it will come just like the picture directly from Colt. I do not see that anything is serialized on it either."

I've gone 14.5 all the way lately. 10.5s and the like are too friggin obnoxious, and adding a can is just as awful.

Of course they would say that... should have contacted Colt directly and asked "Is Model 6930 a legit model and is this a legit offering of it?"
