Yeah, this may be true. But have you seen just who is currently in control of both the Legislative and Executive Branches? How much effort did it actually take to make the Hughes Amendment back in 1986?
In the "discussions" I have had with anti-gun libs their reason for supporting gun control laws once you have effectively shot down every reason they come up with facts and reality; they inevitably point to economic reasons for not needing a firearm.
Besides, I was merely answering the question why I included "investment" for my justification. So all of this is purely academic, isn't it?
