Was your gas set to the correct settings (if applicable)?

FYI a PWS Quickcomp FSC556 brake/bilock mount will allow mounting a G5 on a 12" LMT upper, no mods required. Here's my upper.

When the suppressor is mounted, there's about 1/4" of space between the back end of the suppressor and the front of the gas knob, and about 1/8" of space when pushing the G5 onto the mount.

Can you mount an AAC M4-2000 on the LMT 12" Piston upper with no problems?

    Thanks!

The diameter of the teeth on the mount is too large, and will block you from being able to pull the piston innards out the front.

That Sucks! What can would work with no hassles? It seems LMT could have planned better, since from what I hear tell.. the M4-2000 is one of the best for an SBR.
