The prices.. saw a used but stock gen 3 glock 19 for $625 and a rock island 1911 for $700 the other day. I didn't have the energy to ask about the bushmaster ar15.
I wouldn't care to own a Judge...........if I lived where there were more snakes around.
Not overhead but saw. On Saturday at a LGS/range one of the salesmen was wearing a chrome Desert Eagle in a nylon OWB Uncle Mikes type holster

What's wrong with that? Probably his BBQ gun. He was probably dressed up to go out after his shift.

BBQ gun

Yeah Barbecue gun. Don't you have a Barbecue gun? You must not be from Texas. I'm not either and I don't either but that's beside the point. I'll admit it's pretty tacky to tote a chrome gun in Uncle Mikes nylon but then again he makes those of us with some fashion sense look that much better.
I hate to say it, but found my first real fudd moment.
Was trying to site in an AR at the range the other day. The guy at the counter looked at the ammo and said "We don't let you shoot Lake City. You can only shoot 55gr FMJ."
Well, it was an M193 clone ... and yes, using LC brass, but made by Ventura Munitions. But try to explain that to them ... Then they said I could use their ammo, and pulled out some .223 in a blue box (with 5.56x45 in parenthesis underneath the giant '.223 Remington'). I asked if it was only .223 that I could shoot then, to which he replied I could shoot 55gr FMJ, and that this ammo was 5.56.
Not sure if I'm the idiot on this, or him. Or maybe a little of both.
