    Just a heads up.

    I just called the NFA branch (304 616-4500) to check status of my SDN-6 and it is now an automated system. You have to push 3 to check on form 1 & 4's, then it says due to heavy workload, current processing time is of six months. If your form 1 or 4 is past this date you can leave a message and it will be returned within two biz days.

    I need to get more info on this form and find out if it can be used for multiple trips across the state line.
    I live just inside the state of Florida line and there's a outdoor range just a few miles into Georgia that I would love to take my SBR to but I don't want to file for each and every trip.

    Odd, I called yesterday too and spoke with a human who checked on mine for me. Glad I called first thing in the morning.
