This is stamp in hand 5/19/16? This makes me smile. I'm still waiting on my stamp from 12/23/15, so if this is any indication of times I'm a couple weeks out...

Affirmative. My dealer called me the day after he received the Form 4. Envelope was postmarked 05/13 or 14 if I recall.

When you eFile a form 1, what exactly do they do regarding notifications and updates? Anything... or just email the stamp when it's done?

You "usually" get an email when the status changes. So when it's "Pending" and then again when it's "Approved".
Not always though. I've had stamps that I received email updates & I've had stamps that I didn't. It's best to just log on and check occasionally.

To prevent any confusion...you won't get an email that says "pending".

It goes from Draft, to Submitted/In Process, and then to Approved or Disapproved. The only other step in there is if you get the yellow warning box and you go into Pending Research between Draft and Submitted/In Process. The form itself stays under the Draft branch until it clear PR and moves to S/IP.

Note that you'll only have the "branches" showing when you have a form in that category:




I've always gotten the emails, but some people don't.
