Called the NFA today, their system was down so I still don't know when my 9/18 Check Cashing went pending.

From timelines here, it looks like it may be another 2 months or so.

I called the NFA Branch today in light of the news that they've hired more examiners and authorized unlimited overtime. I hadn't bothered calling prior since my dealer said "Don't bother them until late November/early December..."

Good news though. Lady on the phone said 7 months from August 21st, but it is trending faster.

Approved yesterday! 111 Days from pending til approval.

I've had 3 recent form 1's approved in just about 5 weeks. Will form 4's ever get down to the same wait period as a form 1?

To the NFA Branch's credit, they are plowing through the Form 4s as fast as they can. The examiners have authorization to work unlimited (paid) overtime, which, since it's the holidays, they are taking it. Mine above took 111 days from pending to approval.

I think to get it down to 4-5 weeks, Form 4 needs to be put back into eForms.

Seen a few F4 individuals roll through lately. Right at 8 months total from mailbox to mailbox.
