Has anyone done Silencershop's "Powered Dealers"?
It seems that you pay Silencershop the tax stamp fee and a transfer fee and that's it. They say they take care of everything and that you have no transfer fee to pay at your local class 3 dealer when it arrives.
So, do they automatically submit a form 4, or do they still submit the form 3, and then the form 4 right away?
I haven't bought a suppressor in a year and the last time I used silencershop, this wasn't an option.

I just bought a can a few weeks ago through their "Powered By" program. You pay for the can & the stamp they take care of the rest. They also take care of the F3 & F4 and also cover the transfer fees. Once the F4 is approved, you just pick up your can at the dealer. Mine is still currently in the F3 process. I believe they also send emails for any updates.
I did notice that prices vary by dealer. Not sure why but I ended paying about $10 more just to have it sent to the closest dealer to me.

My friend got his suppressor back in the same time frame-pending Sept 30 and approved Nov 15. When he was telling me about his time frame I decided to call and found out it was done. Trust me, I'm shocked too.
5 years ago my Uzi took 70 days out and back, this one was damn near the same time frame. I'll be having a S&W 76 going in later this month so we will see if I can get lucky on the time it takes to clear again.
Only 35 more minutes to go here at work then I'm off to pick up my baby....
