They may be approving them now from that time frame, but from when the form was stamped, until it makes it in the mail is taking more then 10 days. Then snail mail. So if your form is approved today, plan on 3 weeks to arrival.

Forms 1 & 4 sent 8/July/16

Received correction letter yesterday for my form 1. Ready to mail back tomorrow. I'm hoping I'll get my stamp by months end and get my form 4 next week...

The correction requested was in box 4b. When it asks for a model, I wrote in ar-15. They asked for a correction on what LMT has listed specifically on the lower for their model number (Defender 2000).

I just received 2 stamps within the last month. Both generated correction letters. Stamps received 2 1/2 weeks after mailing back forms. So, not too much longer.

Thanks for the input. These are my first stamps, so the anticipation and excitement are building. When I sent them in (7/8/2016), the wait was 6 months... I guess they'll get here when they do!

Just received an email from Eforms saying my Form1 had a status change. Opened the email and read this.....
"This is to advise you that the status of your eForms submission with the subject Permit/Control number has changed to SUBMITTED/IN PROCESS"

What gives? I was under the impression when I submitted the form on 6/27/2016 that it was submitted/in process. The attached form said the same thing.

I would call them and check. This happened to me last year. When i got the status change email i waited the average 6mos at the time before calling. I was told to wait a few more weeks for it to change. When it didn't i called back and was told that there was an error and it should have changed to approved 6 months earlier. oops, their bad. so i learned an important lesson, always call when it seems odd. you've already waited long enough.

Someone made a boo boo and hit the "submitted/in process" button instead of "approved." This happened to me a month ago. Give ATF a call tomorrow.
