My experience is that there is about 1 week between the date that the form is signed and the day that I get the call to pick it up. The last stamps that I got back had about 345 days between submission of the form 4 and receipt of the stamp by my FFL. I have another that is at 350 days today.

Well, back in July I eformed a form 1 Trust to make a suppressor. Wednesday I got an email from the ATF with a PDF of my approval and stamp.

From the time I eformed in July until my approval 311 days.

Now to get started on the suppressor build! It's going to be a little bit as some of the things I want is out of stock. I can't wait to get it done!

Damn that would really suck to have that long to get the stamp back after waiting 11 months for an approval.

Guys at my club think by fall the backlog should clear with the 41F rush and turnaround should go down to a handful of months. Is this the general consensus? I want to believe.

Are you kidding? That is the fastest transfer I have heard thus far. I still have two out almost one year on each.

I'm hypothesizing the same thing, but I would love to hear what others think. I'm waiting to see a July 15 submittal/approval date before I purchase my next.

Myself and two of my shooting friends submitted more than a dozen "stamp requests" :-) just around the new year past banking on the fact that the fastest way to take possession was to be approved and waiting for "things to change" wasn't a direct route to approval. That BS espoused; I am optimistic that times will accelerate in the consumer's favor shortly.
