Getting a C&R FFL?

Is a C&R license worth pursuing just for the ability to get discounts on purchases from Midway, Brownells, etc., or does it bring too much unwarranted attention onto law-abiding citizens? Reading this article got me thinking about it, but I am wondering whether the risk of "self-registration" these days is worth it. Your thoughts?

Do you have a credit card, banking account, are you registered to vote? They already KNOW who you are....go for it. Mine paid for itself on the first purchase.
