I've had two successful transfers since the first of the year; one for an SBR and the other for a suppressor. I have another suppressor in the mill right now. So far, no issues or questions. The only thing BATF seems to be requesting, in addition to the copy of the trust and certificate of compliance, is the Schedule A (identifying each item covered by the trust).
I will note that I was the only one who signed the Form 1 and Form 4 as the trustee, so I'm not sure how my dealer would have reacted had I sent just my wife to pick up the item. Because the paperwork contains only my signature (and my dealer would have accepted either of us signing it) I think I would have her carry a copy of the trust with her if she was to be in sole posession of any of the items.
