I also used Quicken, and both myself and the wife are grantors and trustees. I also recall I had to tweek the document prior to printing because of the name I applied to the trust, i.e. the "(last name) NFA Revocable Living Trust". I've had two successful transfers since the first of the year; one for an SBR and the other for a suppressor. I have another suppressor in the mill right now. So far, no issues or questions. The only thing BATF seems to be requesting, in addition to the copy of the trust and certificate of compliance, is the Schedule A (identifying each item covered by the trust).

I will note that I was the only one who signed the Form 1 and Form 4 as the trustee, so I'm not sure how my dealer would have reacted had I sent just my wife to pick up the item. Because the paperwork contains only my signature (and my dealer would have accepted either of us signing it) I think I would have her carry a copy of the trust with her if she was to be in sole posession of any of the items.

I also was the only one who signed the paperwork and it wasn't an issue. The dealer called my house and told my wife the tax stamp arrived. She went down to the store, gave her name and they gave her the item.

So for you guys who did this, did you use your given names for the name of the Trust, and did you have both people's names engraved on the receivers?

    Thanks again!
We used both are given names for the trust name. My purchase is a factory SBR from Sabre Defence so I did not have to engrave the lower.

I am glad you asked these questions, I definitely feel confident my trust will be approved.
