    Shelf life on powder???

A probation officer that I know who does a lot of shooting told me today that the major powder manufacturers are putting a shelf life on their powder now? Is there anything to this, or is this just another scare tactic rumor running around?

    Smoke and mirrors.

On a related note, I just opened up an eight lb keg of Unique from the mid 70's. Works just fine.

He got his info from a gunsmith who supposedly "does all the private gunsmithing work for the instructors at Ft. Benning." Personally, I think he is shooting himself in the foot. Another idiot driving up the price of freakin ammo.

From a statement like that, he already has one and is BSing strong.
