    JP Enterprise JP-15 VTAC

I picked this up a couple months ago. It's a standard JP-15 VTAC except I requested the barrel be heat fitted to the upper receiver as they do on their higher-end JP-15s and added a heat sink to help keep the ultra-light barrel cooler. I think the Magpul MIAD is going to go in favor of a Magpul MOE grip, though. Optics may come eventually, but I still prefer iron sights for most work.

Very nice rifle. I would love to get my hands on one of the VTAC rifles but no one here locally carries anything worth a damn. It's all DPMS. The Colts and LWRC's I find are waaaaaay over priced!

I have to order all of my gear and do the work myself, but I prefer it that way.

Nice rifle, i have been patiently waiting on my Jp Vtac upper since January, i hope it ships sometime in May.

everything i hear about them is top notch, i like the simplicity of the upper, like you i only see myself hanging a light off mine.

    how does it shoot?

That VTAC hand guard has really grown on me.

SWEEEET. I've had a JP CTR-02 for about 6 months and I have a LRP-07 on order. I probalby would have ordered a JP VTAC as well, but I picked up one of the Noveske/Magpul Recce Rifles, which kind of fills the same gap.

It looks like you have the eMod stock. Did you order that from JP or did you install that yourself? I know that it isn't listed on their website as an option. I'm thinking about putting that stock on my next build.

You'll love that gun, I was suprised as hell with how accurate these guns can be with cheap ammo.

    SWATcop1911,
What are of TX are you in?

    Bates,
I haven't gotten a chance to shoot it, yet. The sights arrived yesterday and I took off TDY today.

    Nevermiss,
The stock was put on at JP. Mr. Paul was a great resource and a great help in the process.

    All,
Thanks for all the comments. I'll update as I can.

Ha! That was my plan, and that is what I did! I was between getting a JP or SW Vtac, and the MPL Reece's came out.

I do have a an 18inch JP on order for my SPR/3-gun rifle.

Thanks. No, I'm ambidextrous, but shoot longarms more often as a righty. Why do you ask?
