I stopped by an outdoor store on the way coming back from Suffulk and picked up 3 boxes each of Remington

55gr MC L223R3

55 gr ACCUTIP-V PRAC223RC

Has anyone had any problems with these rounds?

I believe the L223R3 is Remington's "UMC" 55 grn FMJ. I have never had any real "problems" with it, but it is a bit anemic. I have experienced a few short stroke malfunctions with it in 5.56 carbines.

My Mini-14 (I know, gay) loves the UMC.

Never shot the "Accutip" round.
