Front sling mount for 590 Mariner

Hey All,

I was wondering what options I have other than the magazine cap for attaching my sling to the front of this shotgun.

With the swivel attached to the front of the magazine it seems like the sling could get in the path of the barrel or am I just thinking too much?

I take it the mariner does not have the bayonet lug? There is a threaded hole in the lug for the swivel stud. If no lug then the answer is delivered by esskay just above.
