    Its in the email that I quoted from Daniel Defense. The rep said to zero using the large aperture which is contrary to everything that has been said here. I zero'd using the small originally and like I said, I think I will re-zero with the small at 50 tomorrow when I head back out.

    you probably need to zero the large aperture after the small aperture just to determine where it's hitting

    Why would I do that? You can't zero both of them, one or the other. The apertures are not on the same plane. Do you mean just shoot it and see where the POI is vs. POA?

    yep.. just to figure out poi

    in my case, I use LMT buis. it's got the elevation wheel in the back.

    normally it's set to small aperture 50yards.
    if I need the large aperture, I have to move elevation a few clicks to give the same zero.
