They're imported from Turkey. Charles Daly has always admitted that. In fact I think they say so on their website(or at least they used to.)

Turkish or not, their customer service is top notch, and by most accounts(and my own experience,) they are reliable.

My buddy picked one last week(SP Home Def), Frist let me say the fit in finish is Super everything fits nice and tight and the action is nice and smoth, My frist impression was that was dam he bought another $1000+ shotgun,My surprise it was a CD.

Took it to the range on monday and between the 2 of us we shot 250 rounds 175 for just light dove loads and about 50 rounds of win 00 buck and then finished up with some low recoil slugs. Had to adjust the sights all the way down to make hits @ 50 yards with the Slugs.
Over all it ran good the sights are ok the front fiber optic tube is just held on with two peices if wire kind of cheap but held up with out moving.
We field stripped it and comes apart like a rem 870, looks alot like one and easy to disasemble- reasemble.
The rear sight is nice but not as good as a LPA.

Over all I like it and boy it is a lot lighter than my 930 breacher.
I might pick up on in the near future.
Hope this help any one who is looking at them.

    Dave
