A hunting buddy of mine bought one of these against my advice. It had 2-3 failures to feed right out of the box. He also stated the 5 round mag only held 4??
What should I tell him to look for in regards for a quick possible fix?? He only has the one mag & I told him to find another already before he shoots it again.

It could be a couple things but I would start with the ammo.
Was he using a hunting round? The shape on some of the bullets don't like the feed ramp on the DPMS LR308/Remington R25.

I'll ask....I think he tried two different flavors. I also have some odds and ends 308 I can let him try.
