He is a professional writer. He isn't pimping the products as much as he is promoting himself and I don't mean any disrespect towards the OP when I say that. Besides why do you even care if he is pimping it hard? Buy some ammo and make your mind up if it is good or not, or don't. It's your choice but I do appreciate the fact that gunwriter brought it's availability to the boards attention.

First time I've seen this stuff for sale: http://www.copesdistributing.net/pro...a9845bf2b59a62

Not the cheap solution I was hoping for. Looks like I'm reduced to buying Wolf to keep from digging into my stash.
    Principles matter.

For $0.49 per round there are other viable options as well. This is not the answer to quality ammunition at a low cost as much as another contender in the low end ammunition ring. Tough call, maybe if it ended up being a better than expected performer it would gain some momentum at the current price, but it's not the "To Die For" deal that I would have liked to see...... like say $0.25 - $0.35 a round.
I save money using AMSOIL full synthetic lubricants. Do you?

I wrote a thread on this about a month ago (Turkish 5.56mm). I shot some of the 62 gr SS109 type ammo. The 62 gr bullets are steel cored. It shot well and I had no malfunctions or stoppages. I won't say it was low powered, but I did have to adjust the gas regulator on my Robinson XCR to position 3 from position 2. Position 2 was adequate for 55 gr Federal XM193.

The case I just received is labeled 5.56x45 62gr, .223 is not mentioned anywhere on the box.

    Manufactured by this company:http://www.mkek.gov.tr/english/foHab...x?iKodHaber=44

The specs for the round are here: http://www.mkek.gov.tr/english/foUru...Kategorisi=119

The Quality Certificate in the box list it as SS-109/M855 manufactured to a NATO spec AC/225 (LG/3-SG/1) D/8

I haven't shot any of it yet.
    Peace, Jerry

    I don't drink the koolaid
