This white box ammo carries the personal protection label and in the past was commonly seen at Walmart. Despite searching for data on this round, I've not been able to learn anything about its performance. What about it, Doc and others?

I've only tried the .40 s&w. I accidentally bought a box of it cuz the box looks just like the FMJ ammo.
The .40 is pretty good in my hill billy trials. I shot some into some water jugs and trapped the bullet in a phone book behind the jugs. Despite the bullet looking like it would never expand, it bloomed quite nicely.
I looked into this before. I can't remember the details of my research, but I remember this being very good JHP ammo. I'm sure there is better, but you can say that about any ammo.
I've used it as carry ammo with no reservations.

I got shot with one, it held together well and did a lot of damage to my elbow.
