    5.45 in pmags?

Has anyone out there ever tried to shoot 5.45x39 using a pmag? I tried loading one of mine with romanian hotshot ammo and I was able to get all 30 rounds in, except that the last 5 rounds were incredibly hard to press in and the last 10 or so rounds were not feeding right (done by hand) because they were pointing downwards and getting caught inside the mag's body. I think that if I were going to shoot with 5.45 in a pmag, I'd only load it to 15 rounds as there were no feed problems that I encountered. I would also like to try this with a 20rd pmag.

Also, aside from the C-Products mags, are there any other 5.45 specific mags on the market? Which mags that are not designed for 5.45 work well with the round?

P.S. - If you need some C products mags, AIM surplus them for 10% off until June 22nd. Use coupon code HFD2009 in the checkout.

MilSurp ammo is too long for PMags. Use Lancers, USGI, or Cproducts.

Given that the surplus stuff doesn't feed from a PMag due to OAL and the Wolf stuff is heavier bullets (probably longer), I'd guess NO.
