    5.56mm 70gr TSX Data?

    If anyone has terminal ballistics data for 5.56mm 70gr TSX, I would appreciate it if you could post it here and/or PM it to me. thanks

    Another question regarding TSX bullets. I've read on other websites that lighter weight TSX's, in this case the 53gr version, lost it's petals when fired out of 16"+ barrels into Bare Gel.

    I also remember reading an article, I believe by Farnum, saying the same issue with 53gr, but not with 62gr DPX. Anyone else heard of this? If so, perhaps the lighter versions (55gr and lighter) are better for barrels <=14.5" while the 62-70gr version is better for 16+" barrels. Thoughts?

    Well, that was my test, so obviously I was there to see it.

    FWIW, I'm not the only guy to have noticed the issue with the DPX bullets shedding one or all of the expanded petals in gelatin testing.
