    On my scale an M4 stock body without swivel is 5.7 oz and a MOE is 8.3 with rubber pad. Didn't take the time to remove the rubber pad and see what it weighs without.

    Wouldn't the MOE be lighter than the CTR?

    I had a CAR stock on my M4 in the Army for a while as I wanted the lightest thing I could find on my weapon. It was just too damn light for a 14.5" barrel.

    The Colt "M4" stock was a big improvement, but I remember when I first got to try a SOPMOD.... Crane really did their homework with that stock.
