    16" Midlength Handguard/Rail Option help

    Hey Guys,

I have a 16" Middy, and have searched EVERYWHERE for a rail option that lets me keep my FSP and put a rail in front of it. Something like the Troy Battlerail Delta, which I'd buy in a heartbeat if it were made for a midlength. Ideally, I'd like to not have to remove my barrel/muzzle device, etc...

I have an email in to Troy, so we'll see if/when they get a chance to respond.

Any options you guys have used or seen around the internets?

    Thanks all.

Get a Viking Tactics tube. They make a "in front of the FSB" add on extension that's really nice.

Thanks, but looks like its a 1 piece, and the extension tube only fits the carbine length.

Buy a Centurion Arms rail and cut the slip ring.

Don't think there is anything in what you are looking for. Might I recommend the Centurion FSP rail though, I love mine.

Do you happen to know if their new C4 FSP rail is for a midlength gas system? I can't find that spec anywhere. Yes, the midlength cutout rail would work, but I want a 12 o'clock rail in front of the FSP

Looks great! I'm 6'3" (long arms) and am trying to get my hand out further than the FSP

I'm 6'2" and I run my arm all the way out on his setup. My other rifle is running a 12.5" KAC URX III and I place my hand in the exact same spot.

Thanks! Good to know. Wonder why nobody makes what I'm looking for... but they make 'em for carbines...

I had a LMT carbine rifle with a Daniel Defense 12" FSP rail, and I didn't notice any disadvantage in hand placement over this current setup. The rail is about 12" long on the bottom and sides.
