Just picked up a new Glock and the internal parts were completely dry. I think it's the first time I've bought one that didn't have that gold paste on the bearing surfaces of the FCS.
Is this normal?
Thanks.

Every new Glock I've seen come through our gun shop has had the gold paste or whatever it is.

Anti-seize compound. like you'd put on the threads of a spark plug.
and it's copper, not gold...
never push a wrench...
FCS?
M_P
FCS????
Fire Control System?
Ferrous Cartridge System?
Fullisade Cartridge Shooter?
The G19 I recently bought had a small amount.
The copper colored paste is fel-pro anti-seize compound
Purchased a G17 RTF recently and the copper stuff was there.
I bought a Glock 19 at the beginning of June, with a fired case dated early May, and it had the copper grease.
