SEI M14 pre-86 select-fire conversion. Not the sexiest automatic but it's what I got. Put it in a McMillan MFS-14 glass bedded folding stock with a shot-shock recoil reducing buffer tube, Smith Ent. USCG muzzle brake, which has helped recoil tremendously (along with the weight of the stock and fishing weights I stuffed the emod battery compartments with). I like the McMillan because I can have it back in the M14E2 'nam era configuration in about 5 minutes if I want, as long as I'm fast at at changing the muzzle device back out, haha. Actually the original M14E2 comp it came with blew off during a mag dump, but I have some replacements. Wish I could find some reliable high cap mags for it, but I'm doing good if the Checkmate 20 rounders just function correctly. Also an Ultimak railed handguard with a Aimpoint Comp M3. Can keep about 75% of the rounds on a USPSA target on a 20 yard mag dump, haha.

A few videos of it being shot:

    How it came:

13 pound 13 oz helps with recoil along with shot shock buffer tube and brake:

I did not get to Shot show but there sometimes are better things to do with your time than Shot. Look what I have been fingering for the last few days. It will be coming up to auction in a few months.

    (delicious FG42 photos)
Yeah, I would have gladly skipped Shot this year to play with that. How many original FG42 transferables are there, anyways? Two?

A little clip from last Friday. I'm very lucky to have a couple friends with assorted transferables. This is my 10.5" LMT MRP upper on a registered Colt M16 lower. The gun shoots extremely soft due to the Gemtech SBC and suppressor, so you can land multiple hits on steel at decent distances.

Alright, you guys are hard to please. Bonus points if you know what the extra burst trigger frame goes to.
