    Bobro or LaRue?

What are the feelings on these mounts? I know Larue has been around a long time and is battle proven.... how are the Bobro's? they appear to be very well made. Are the rated as highly as Larue or will that take awhile?

LaRue for me! They have never failed me and his service has always been excellent in my dealings with him.

I like Larue. they just flat out work. and secondly it's about risk vs. reward. you risk spending the money on a system that could perform worse than the LT, and your reward could be a system that works AS GOOD.

    Mounts

    Aimpoint/Bobro/LaRue. The spacer is Aimpoint.

    LaRue Mount

    Bobro mount

I ran the Bobro mount at the Magpul carbine class, worked great, no issues.
I ran the LaRue mount at another class, again no issues. When a buddy borrowed my LaRue and used it on a LMT upper, there was a small bit of wiggling.

On the Colt no issues. I like both, Mark and Andrew make very good products. The cost are close. Each have strong/weak points. Both have strong levers to clamp the mount onto M1913 rails. I still run both-tough choice. Good luck.

Yes Bobro has made or is finishing up their T1 mount but they did not say how long it would be before they released it for sale.
