I have a 2006 AAC Ranger, what's the difference in the two? The db reduction seems to be the same as well as the dimensions. It looks like the 2007 model is 2 oz. lighter. Anything else?

ETA: I don't see any weld marks on the new model. How is it constructed?

2007 model is much stronger as the baffles are welded to each spacer on a CNC robot welder before being pressed into the outer-tube. The end caps are welded to the tube with full penetration circumferential welds. The bore is cut on EDM for extreme accuracy. The finish is Rockwell ~69 SCARmor and scratch and burn proof. The barrel threads are now class-3 to make it less likely to unscrew. The end cap is now flat to match the other new designs.

What are class-3 barrel threads and how do they keep the suppressor from unscrewing?

    Thanks,

It does not need cleaning. You can soak it in solvent if you want but it is not necessary.
