M&P Ambi Safety and Crimson Trace Laser

1-What is the best option for fitting a M&P (Ambi Safety) with Crimson Trace Laser Grips ?

2-I believe the safety lever is a one piece design, if so cutting the right side lever is an option. Is there a replacement part available to convert the ambi to a left side thumb safety ?
