I have had both Colts and LMTs in the past. Both are excellent quality. Since you have the LMT lower I would go with the LMT upper.
i also have both, and agree both are first-class, dependable rifles. i'd personally get a lmt upper to match my lower,,,YMMV [i swear the lmt is smoother,, like closing the door on a cadillac versus closing the door on a 1963 plymouth]
Both will serve you very well. However, I note that if you get the MRP upper it will likely be around the same price as the Colt and you will get things like rails, the ability to swap barrels, etc. that you either do not get with the Colt or you have to add aftermarket.
Don't see how you can go wrong in the end though...

Another vote for an LMT upper. Check out the MRP versions.
